Scope

These terms cover engagements with Vowel Enterprises for Digital Signature Certificate issuance and business compliance services. Case-specific scope, fees, and timelines are recorded in a separate engagement note for each service.

Certifying Authority responsibility

Digital Signature Certificates are issued by licensed Certifying Authorities under the Information Technology Act, 2000. Vowel Enterprises acts as an authorised registration authority and facilitator; the certificate itself is issued by the Certifying Authority whose name appears on it.

Client obligations

You are responsible for the accuracy of documents and information provided. Misrepresentation of identity or entity documents may result in certificate revocation and legal consequences under the IT Act.

Fees and refunds

Service fees are payable in advance. Certifying Authority fees are non-refundable once an application is submitted. Compliance filing fees are refundable pro-rata if work has not commenced. Government fees (MCA, GST, etc.) are non-refundable.

Timelines

Timelines quoted on our website and in engagement notes are typical turnaround times, contingent on complete documentation and government portal availability. Delays caused by government portals, video verification scheduling, or incomplete documents are not the firm's liability.

Limitation of liability

Our liability for any engagement is limited to the fees paid for that specific engagement. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or business losses arising from missed government deadlines where sufficient time was not provided, or from Certifying Authority actions outside our control.

Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Indian law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka.
